It’s a super wintery day today. I’m very tempted to get back into my bed and curl up with the book I am currently reading. Decided to do a review of it instead.
To all my kitty loving followers, (especially @tattooedlines and @zess) this is SUCH a stunning book.
It’s written by a doctor (David Dosa) who deals with patients living in a nursing home, all suffeing from various stages of dementia. This nursing home is one of the few in America that is pro human-animal bonding. Because of this, there are 6 cats that live in the nursing home.
One of the cats, Oscar, is suspected to have a 6th sense when it comes to patients who are suffering. He always knows when they are on the verge of death, and sits with them in their last living hours.
It’s based on a true story.
